I grabbed a kebab from down the street at about 9pm. There are also buses you can catch around the zoo that are called kangaroo buses which makes four stops around the zoo to help people get around.

The driver was Aussie which was nice.Īfterwards I walked around for about 4-5 hours checking it all out. The first thing I did was ride on a bus which took you around the zoo for forty minutes so it was a good way for me to get my bearings. Really big and a must see if you are visiting San Diego. I had to walk up the street to 5th avenue and Broadway and catch bus number 7 to the zoo.

I made my bed and then pretty much found the instructions on how to get to the Zoo and left. He dropped the girls off first and then took me to my hostel which is called San Diego usa hostel.
My driver Karl was extremely nice and friendly and I was in the passenger seat talking to him the whole way. There were two foreign girls in the van from a different hostel.
Today the shuttle picked me up at 1000 outside my hostel. Sprayed some aloe Vera spray on my face and off to bed. Seems to be really really nice and lovely people around here! Then on the train another guy offered me his seat as I was standing and when I declined he asked another lady. He then came back and told us to go over to the other machine as its one way for 2.50. This other guy before this got abit annoyed as the machine was only offering day passes for 5 bucks and said it should offer a single way pass for 2.50 and said he was off to find the machine. When I said Australia his eyes lit up and I asked him if he could help me with the ticket machine and he gave me his spare metro card so I didn’t have to buy one! I didn’t need one after all that but I thought it was incredibly cute. A little boy heard me talking and asked if I was from England. I think Celine was happy she was with me as I was quite confident with the directions. We caught the bus at 9:48 which took us to old town and then from there we took the green line to the convention centre and then walked the ten mins or so joke. Not good and am regretting not wearing sunscreen and a hat! Unfortunately and stupidly I didn’t wear any sunscreen so ended up with a badly burnt face, arms and knees. I took a heap of photos and watched all the shows and had a great time! We didn’t leave SeaWorld until after 9:30 so we spent the best part of 12 hours there. Her name was Celine and we ended up hanging out the whole day together. from the hostel there was another couple that we’re getting dropped off at Ocean beach and a Swedish girl who was also going to sea world.

I organised with the hostel yesterday to take a free shuttle to SeaWorld. Didn’t get to bed until after midnight though and am getting picked up by my tour guide at 6:10 tomorrow morning!!! I went down and had a quick dip in the pool and had a shower and a bath and relaxed. I arrived in Vegas at 430 but by the time the shared shuttle had dropped me off and I had checked in it was past 6pm.
My room number is 596 and is on level five and I’ve got amazing views of the pool. When I arrived at Paris there was a massive line to check in. When I arrived in Vegas I collected my bags and got a shuttle that I booked yesterday from the airport to my hotel “Paris”. Once there I went through security and then hopped on the plane with spirit airlines which is a budget airline. I went back into the hostel grabbed my luggage and was on my way to the airport. I asked him if he was taking anyone and he said no and so I said is it okay if in five you take me to the airport and he said no worries. About 25m from the hostel I noticed at taxi on the side of the street. I chilled out there for two and a half hours (checkout is at 10) ate some lunch and walked back. Today my flight didn’t leave for Vegas until 3:20pm so I kept my luggage in the hostel and went for a walk to the mall around the corner.
